At Salesforce, we use the V2MOM to keep our 54,000+ employees aligned. V2MOM stands for Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles and Measures, and is our business planning and goal setting process. At the beginning of every fiscal year, the whole company gets together to create the year’s V2MOM, ensuring that everyone is invested and aligned. At the onset of the health crisis, we created COVID-19 Guiding Principles and a COVID-19 V2MOM – an actionable plan that got everyone aligned and clear on our priorities. This helped us reprioritize and respond to the crisis quickly.
We believe that happy and engaged employees are the key to our success. Enabling our employees to prioritize their work and focus on their personal wellbeing has never been more important. In face of the global pandemic, our first priority was to make sure that our employees were safe and healthy. We introduced new benefits and doubled down on enablement to make sure everyone was set up for success.
