Fortune Names Salesforce to its Future 50 List for the Second Year in a Row

Salesforce is proud to be recognized on Fortune’s Future 50 list for the second year in a row. The list honors 50 innovative companies that have the best long-term growth outlooks, according to Fortune’s editors. The editors worked in conjunction with Boston Consulting Group, which assesses the “vitality” of public companies, assessing strategy, technology, investments, people, and structure, to arrive at the rankings. The list includes 25 large company leaders and 25 smaller companies designated as challengers.

Fortune ranked Salesforce at #10 among large company leaders. “All four of Salesforce’s core cloud product offerings continue to see growth, and BCG estimates that the company will increase revenue as much as 23 percent annually in the near term,” Fortune’s story reports. “Tech strategists surmise that Salesforce will use MuleSoft tools, which tout many global brands as customers, to more easily integrate other services provided by co-founder Marc Benioff’s company.”

A video interview with Benioff, which Fortune did at last month’s Dreamforce, accompanies the online story. Get more on Fortune’s Future 50 ranking methodology here.

Salesforce is also very honored to have been recognized by Fortune as the World’s #1 Best Workplace, as the 15th Most Admired Company in the World, and as an honoree on its Change the World list (which evaluates corporate giving) for three years in a row.
