Earlier this year, we introduced consumption-based pricing, allowing customers to pay for the exact actions their agents perform using Flex Credits, as well as new user licenses with Agentforce usage included, and a Flex Agreement that allows customers to convert licenses into credits. This flexible approach is helping to fuel agentic AI experimentation and deployments.
Today, we’re expanding our payment options, offering three distinct ways to pay for Agentforce usage. This gives every customer the freedom to choose the billing model that best fits their unique needs:
- Pay-as-you-go (NEW): No up-front commitment; pay monthly for Flex Credits used.
- Pre-commit (NEW): Make an up-front commitment to unlock more favorable pricing, and pay monthly for Flex Credits used. The bigger the commitment, the bigger the savings, allowing you to drive greater ROI as you scale.
- Pre-purchase: Save the most by paying up front, ideal for businesses with predictable, consistent usage.

Pay-as-you-go:
Pay-as-you-go pricing is generally available starting today, so customers can get started with Agentforce quickly and easily, with no up-front commitment, and pay monthly based on the number of Flex Credits used. This flexible option is ideal for running pilots, testing new use cases, and managing unpredictable workloads.
Pre-commit:
We’re also introducing a new pre-commit option in limited release that allows customers to unlock more favorable pricing when they make an up-front commitment. The bigger the commitment, the bigger the savings, meaning ROI improves as customers scale digital labor across their organizations. Pre-commit will be more widely available later this year.
Pre-purchase:
For the best overall rate, our existing pre-purchase option allows customers to pay up front for a set amount of usage over their contract term and draw from that balance as they go. This is how most of our customers pay today and works well for businesses with predictable workloads and consistent demand.
No matter how customers choose to pay, they can monitor, manage, and optimize their Agentforce usage with Digital Wallet, which provides businesses with near-real-time data, proactive usage alerts, and trend analysis for consumption-based Salesforce products.
