Reaching New Heights on the Fortune 500 List

For the fifth year in a row, Salesforce has climbed higher on the Fortune 500 ranks — the list of the largest U.S. corporations by revenue. Salesforce is now at #240, rising from #285 last year. Since we debuted on this list in 2015, we’ve jumped more than 200 positions. Few other companies have climbed on the list so quickly. It’s a testament to our investments in our people, technology, and customers.

Every time I talk with one of our customers, the conversation quickly turns to the challenges they face with their own digital transformation. How can they keep pace with the new clock speed of innovation and the escalating expectations of their own customers? They look to Salesforce and our ecosystem to partner with them and focus on their success. They look to the power of our Customer Success Platform to transform how they intelligently connect and engage with their own customers every day.

When I think of the accolades Salesforce has received, what makes me most proud are our people and our values. Together with our partners, we’ve reached new heights by living our values every day, and making a difference for our customers and in the communities where we work and live.

So congratulations to our customers, partners, and more than 35,000 Salesforce employees worldwide, who share in this achievement. Thank you for your continued trust in us. We’re proud of this new Fortune ranking, and plan to keep climbing the ladder by focusing relentlessly on customer success and staying true to the values that got us here.
