Salesforce’s Gavin Patterson on Sustainability, Climate Change and the Need for Action

“A shared commitment to sustainability must be our collective priority, if we are to build a better society,” writes Gavin Patterson, Salesforce’s President and Chief Revenue Officer, in a story published today by Freuds Journals. As the UN General Assembly meets in New York this week and Climate Week takes place virtually around the world, Patterson writes that “real change requires leaders across the public and private sector to step up and work together to build a more equitable and sustainable future.”

“Research by the World Resources Institute (WRI) found that 154 of the 169 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets align with climate action,” notes Patterson. “Failure to address the climate crisis at the scale and speed necessary threatens the future of humanity.”
