Dreamforce 2025 was an absolute whirlwind of connections, big ideas and so much coffee. For those of us back here in Australia and New Zealand, I wanted to share my biggest takeaways from the week.
The biggest question coming out of Dreamforce is: Are you ready to move at pace?
Main Keynote takeaways
Jonathan Hatcher breaks down the Dreamforce Main Keynote, featuring the launch of Agentforce 360, vibe coding, and Michael Dell’s advice on how to start moving at pace.

Jessica Raicebe unpacks the biggest announcements from Day 1: the dawn of the Agentic Enterprise, groundbreaking Slack innovations and the essential role of Data 360.
The week kicked off with the Main Keynote, featuring Salesforce Chair and CEO Marc Benioff, along with special guests, where they emphasised that to succeed in this new era, businesses must address their data, governance and integrated solutions. The biggest product revelations were centred on making deployment faster and more controlled:
Agentforce 360 is General Availability: The fourth iteration of Agentforce is now the complete platform powering everything we do – connecting customers, employees, operations and agents in a whole new way. This foundation enables every team to operate with 24/7 intelligence.
Agentforce Vibes for Democratisation: We saw the next level of low-code development. Agentforce Vibes allows anyone to use natural language to create flows and agents. This opens up innovation to everyone by letting you deploy agents in minutes, not weeks or months.
Balancing Control: Agentforce 360 now allows you to blend deterministic flows (structured logic) with the non-deterministic behaviours of large language models. This is crucial for organisations that need control and accuracy when deploying AI agents in sensitive workflows.
Slack as the Agentic OS: The all-new Slackbot was unveiled as a personal AI companion. Slack serves as the conversational interface where humans and agents work together, connecting knowledge, actions and data in real-time.

Cat Bowe recaps the big headlines from Day 2: Agentforce 360 for every line of business, Agentforce Voice, and how conversational CRM is unlocking unmatched productivity.
The week continued with a focus on how Agentforce 360 transforms every line of business, showing that the power of AI is maximised when it’s embedded within specific workflows like Sales, Service, and Marketing.
Data 360: Context is King: We officially introduced Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud). This is the trusted, unified data layer that gives every agent the necessary context. Innovations like Intelligent Context and Unstructured Data Governance are vital for turning your company’s wisdom into actionable context for AI.
The Power of Agentforce Voice: The Service Keynote highlighted Agentforce Voice. This capability allows businesses to offer 24/7 personalised support without compromising quality, aiming for the idea of zero wait times.
Tools for Trusted Deployment: The Agentforce 360 Platform is the platform for every employee to become an agent builder. We saw the Agent Script canvas—a new language for controlling agents—which combines AI flexibility with the rigour of business workflows, ensuring agents perform exactly as desired. We also introduced Agent Observability (available in November) to score agents in real-time and quickly identify issues.
Dreamforce Download: Day 3
Leandro Perez wraps up Day 3, including the Marketing Keynote, the inspiring chat with Sundar Pichai, and the final thoughts from Dreamforce 2025.
The final day reinforced the strategic vision, particularly during the conversation between Marc Benioff and Google and Alphabet CEO, Sundar Pichai. The takeaway was clear: the transformation is a shared journey, and the leaders who move now will gain the strategic advantage.
Marketing Transformation: The Marketing Keynote detailed how AI transforms campaign management and personalisation, ensuring that marketing efforts are seamlessly integrated and automated.
The reality of this transformation was brought to life with a powerful customer story from right here in ANZ. High-end appliance manufacturer Fisher & Paykel, based in New Zealand, showcased how they harnessed the power of Agentforce 360 to become an Agentic Enterprise. They faced a common challenge: their contact centre was overwhelmed by basic enquiries across their catalogue of over 10,000 products. This ‘busy work’ prevented their human teams from having meaningful, high-value conversations with customers. Fisher & Paykel deployed Agentforce in weeks, not months, to handle these questions online. By using a customer’s unified profile in Data 360 to provide essential context, such as what a customer has already purchased or looked at, the agent is able to return relevant and personalised suggestions immediately. The results are incredible: a 70% resolution rate for enquiries, which is double their previous rate. This has freed up their human agents to focus on complex, customer-centric interactions, demonstrating the profound value of embedding Agentforce directly into a core business workflow.
ANZ Leads the Global Conversation: This year, our ANZ customer presence at Dreamforce went to a whole new level to prove that we aren’t just adopting innovation, we’re leading it. It was incredibly inspiring to see our local Trailblazers sought out on the global stage. We had 28 customer speaker engagements, with brands like Scape, One NZ, AGL, Xero, Telstra Health and hipages sharing their journeys alongside Fisher & Paykel to prove the strength of our community.
I was particularly proud to see One NZ’s activation featured in the Agentforce Village, demonstrating their “Zero Touch Prepaid ‘One Assistant'” which went live in production just in time for the conference. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to film Executive Conversations with Jason Paris (CEO, One NZ) and Craig Lauchlan (CIO, Suncorp NZ) sharing their leadership insights. Our customers truly lit up the campus; you couldn’t miss the 10 ANZ brands showcased across 23 prominent placements, including Fisher & Paykel’s hero placement on the exterior of the Moscone North convention centre.
To deepen these strategic discussions, a group of us travelled to the beautiful Carneros Resort & Spa in Napa Valley for an exclusive Executive Experience. There, Salesforce AI Research leaders Silvio Savarese and Itai Asseo delivered deep dives into the Agentic Enterprise, complemented by fascinating insights from bestselling author Jane McGonigal on training our brains for the future.
Moving with Purpose and Community: The message from Dreamforce is undeniable: the time to act is now. You must start and move at pace. To help you on this journey, we’ve distilled the key insights from the week into a local context.
Beyond the tech, Dreamforce always grounds us in our shared values. Giving back was a major focus, from Dreamfest raising vital funds for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, to hands-on activities like shooting hoops with Festus Ezeli to raise money for Bay Area youth. These connections, both professional and philanthropic, are what make this event so powerful.
