MuleSoft Named a Leader in the 2016 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) Worldwide

SAN FRANCISCO – March 28, 2016 – MuleSoft, the company that makes it easy to connect applications, data and devices, today announced that for the third consecutive year, Gartner has named MuleSoft as a Leader in its Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), Worldwide. This marks the second Magic Quadrant in the past year where MuleSoft has been named a Leader – the company was also positioned as a Leader in the Application Services Governance Magic Quadrant, published in April 2015. The complete 2016 report, including the quadrant graphic, is available at

“Hybrid integration is essential as companies add more and more SaaS applications, while retaining legacy on-premises systems. Our hybrid iPaaS is uniquely positioned to help companies tackle these complex integration challenges and leapfrog their competition,” said Mark Dao, chief product officer, MuleSoft. “We’re proud that MuleSoft has once again been named a leader by Gartner.”

According to Gartner, “The ability to also deliver iPaaS functionality in the form of equivalent on-premises middleware products, or as part of a wider hybrid integration platform (HIP), is a capability buyers increasingly require and that is likely to become a necessary feature to compete in this market.”

MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform™ and its API-led approach to connectivity can connect any application, data source and device, making it faster and easier for companies to innovate. It eliminates the pain and cost of custom code by allowing companies to easily and securely integrate across the entire enterprise and to external ecosystems. Some of MuleSoft’s strengths noted in the report include its product breadth and vision, strong capabilities for creating, publishing and managing APIs, a robust go-to-market strategy, and broad adoption and availability of skills in the market.
