Salesforce Saudi Arabia Launches, Operationalizing $500 Million Investment to Advance Vision 2030

Company holds first-ever Innovation Day in Riyadh, announces customer wins and plans for regional headquarters
WASHINGTON / RIYADH – November 18, 2025 – Salesforce, the world’s #1 AI CRM, today announced pivotal steps to advance its long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation and economic diversification goals under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. This includes the establishment of a regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia and the upcoming opening of its new Riyadh office, a landmark Innovation Day showcasing local customers driving measurable impact with agentic AI, and a new university partnership aimed at providing AI education for Saudi citizens and increasing women’s workforce participation.
Saudi Arabia is becoming one of the world’s most dynamic digital economies, and we are proud to deepen our commitment to the Kingdom.
Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO of Salesforce
These steps operationalize Salesforce’s USD $500 million commitment, announced earlier this year, to support AI innovation, cloud adoption, digital skills, ecosystem growth, and Agentic Enterprises across Saudi Arabia. They will deepen Salesforce’s presence in the Kingdom and ensure alignment with national requirements for digital operations, data governance, and local talent development.
“Saudi Arabia is becoming one of the world’s most dynamic digital economies, and we are proud to deepen our commitment to the Kingdom,” said Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO of Salesforce. “With our $500 million investment, and the power of the Salesforce platform and partner ecosystem, we’re helping fuel a new wave of innovation across the Kingdom. Together with government leaders, entrepreneurs, and customers across the region, we’re building the agentic AI future that will help usher in a new era of growth, job creation, and customer success.”
Earlier this month, regional organizations including Red Sea Global, Almosafer, Cenomi, and SRMG shared their transformation stories at Salesforce’s first-ever Innovation Day in Riyadh. The event underscored the rapid adoption of AI, automation, and customer-centric innovation across the Kingdom, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as one of the world’s fastest-moving digital economies.
“Leaders throughout the Kingdom are redefining what digital transformation looks like, advancing with exceptional focus and momentum,” said Mohammed Al-Khotani, who leads Salesforce Saudi Arabia as SVP & GM of Salesforce Middle East. “Saudi Arabia is one of the most dynamic environments for building Agentic Enterprises, where people and AI work together to deliver smarter, more seamless services for citizens, customers, and communities. Establishing our new legal entity and expanding our presence reinforces Salesforce’s long-term commitment to the Kingdom and to helping organizations turn national ambition into measurable impact.”
Driving AI innovation in the Kingdom
Red Sea Global – the developer behind the regenerative tourism destinations The Red Sea and AMAALA and a pioneering adopter of agentic technologies – is leveraging Agentforce 360 to build a unified, data-driven customer experience platform that empowers teams with real-time insights, automation, and intelligent services across the company’s destinations. The work is designed to elevate guest engagement, strengthen operational efficiency, and deliver seamless, personalized experiences at scale.
This collaboration exemplifies the Agentic Enterprise in action, where AI agents and human teams work in harmony to anticipate needs, enhance services, and create connected experiences across every touchpoint.
“At Red Sea Global, we are designing destinations that set global standards for experience, sustainability, and innovation,” said Eng. Sultan Moraished, Group Head of Technology and Corporate Excellence, Red Sea Global. “Salesforce is supporting our vision by helping us build truly agentic, intelligent experiences at scale, where data and AI work together to deliver exceptional value for our guests, partners, and communities.”
Salesforce’s growing activities in Saudi Arabia were previewed at Dreamforce 2025, where His Excellency Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, joined Benioff to discuss how AI, talent development, and global collaboration can accelerate digital government, elevate customer experience, and build the future skills economy, all foundational elements of the Kingdom’s ambitions for Vision 2030.
As His Excellency told the audience, “AI is a general purpose technology where nobody should be left behind,” calling on governments and industry to work together to close emerging data, compute, and algorithmic divides and to use the Kingdom as a bridge between East and West.
Salesforce expects to soon open a new office in Riyadh’s central business district, located close to many customers and designed to strengthen support, collaboration, and in-country engagement.
Empowering Saudi Arabia’s future digital leaders
As part of its pledge to upskill 30,000 Saudi citizens in AI and to focus on women’s workforce participation and inclusivity, Salesforce is also expanding collaborations with universities, public entities, and private organizations to meet the Kingdom’s growing demand for digital and AI talent.
Through Trailhead, Salesforce’s free online learning platform, and tailored local programs, Salesforce is helping to upskill learners across the Kingdom, with a strong focus on empowering women and supporting first-time job seekers. This includes a new partnership with Princess Nourah University, one of the world’s largest universities for women, to help build Saudi Arabia’s next generation of female digital leaders. The first round of training started in September when over 450 women trained to reach Agentblazer status on the Salesforce platform. This aligns with Vision 2030’s goals for employment, innovation, and globally competitive skills.
