Announcing Salesforce Tower Sydney – Doors open in 2022

We’re thrilled to announce the next home for Salesforce ANZ: Salesforce Tower Sydney!

It is a privilege to be joining Salesforce ANZ at an exciting time when our focus on customer success is stronger than ever. We’re continuing to deliver transformative technology that helps companies grow, scale and succeed in the fourth industrial revolution. Today, we’re taking the next step on our commitment to Australia, a place we’ve called home for the last 15 years. I’m so proud to introduce Salesforce Tower Sydney!

At 53 storeys tall, the future Salesforce Tower Sydney will be the tallest office building in the city overlooking the beautiful harbour, Harbour Bridge, Opera House, and the entire skyline. Salesforce Tower Sydney will be located in Sydney’s iconic Circular Quay right in the heart of the city. The building will feature a Salesforce Innovation Center where we can welcome customers into the world of Salesforce, and a top Ohana Floor where we will host non-profits from the community at no charge on weeknights and weekends.

I am also really proud that Salesforce Tower Sydney will also be one of the most sustainable office campuses in the city. The building has achieved Sydney’s first-ever WELL core and Shell Platinum pre-certification, the highest obtainable pre-certification, and will achieve a 6 Star Green Star Design and As Built rating, representing world excellence in sustainable design.

Coming in 2022, Salesforce Tower Sydney will be a place where all of our employees can continue to support our customers in the region and the community at large. We’re also committing to add 1,000 new jobs locally over the next five years to deepen our presence and commitment to Australia.

“The establishment of Salesforce Tower Sydney goes to show the strength of the NSW tech and innovation ecosystem,” said Stuart Ayers, Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney. “We are focused on building and growing this sector in NSW and 1000 new tech-focused jobs in an iconic building located in Circular Quay will continue to drive this growth.”

Salesforce Tower Sydney is one of ten Tower investments in key markets, including our headquarters in San Francisco, and offices in New York, Chicago, London, Tokyo, Dublin, Indianapolis and Atlanta.

Housing the Salesforce spirit

Earlier this year we were named Australia’s Best Place to Work for the second year running. Today’s milestone wouldn’t have been possible without our employees and the broader Sydney community.

And because our employees, customers and partners are at the center of our success, we took an innovative approach with the top floor of our Towers. Salesforce Tower Sydney will be topped with an ‘Ohana Floor’ — an open flexible hospitality space for our employees, customers and partners to enjoy. On weeknights and weekends, nonprofits and local education groups can use the space for their own events at no cost.

Putting the community front and center

Salesforce has been in the business of giving back to the Australian community since the very beginning. As a firm believer that business can be a powerful platform for change, Salesforce has influenced more than 900 companies across Australia to incorporate social change into their bottom line by pledging 1% of equity, product and employee time to their communities. This value for social impact and passion to change the world is one of the reasons I wanted to be a part of the Salesforce community.

I look forward to welcoming you all to our new home in ANZ in 2022. It promises to be a space where we can truly showcase our values as a company and continue to serve our customers and our community.
