Neil Bhikha: From Personal Banking to a Salesforce Expert

Just a year ago, Neil Bhikha was working as a personal banker in New Zealand, a role that felt repetitive and limiting. He realized his true passion was in technology, especially data science and AI, and knew he needed to take a bold step to reshape his expertise to build an AI career.

Neil joined the Mission Ready’s Accelerators, one of the Salesforce Workforce Development Partners in New Zealand. Through the program, he joined Salesforce New Zealand as a Solutions Engineer, building demos for enterprise clients, applying AI tools to speed up delivery, and assisted in creating a Marketing Cloud demo from scratch. By the fifth week, his work had directly contributed to moving a major deal forward, proving he belonged in this new career. Today, Neil works as a Salesforce Consultant, focused on implementing Salesforce solutions while also contributing across development, business analysis, data analysis, and Tableau.
