I joined Salesforce in 2019 as the founding researcher of its Singapore AI research team. In 2024, I co-founded Rhymes.ai, a foundation-model startup that was subsequently soft-acquired by Salesforce AI Research.

My research spans LLMs, multimodal AI, time-series, tabular learning, coding agents, and computer-use agents. With more than 43,000 Google Scholar citations, my work has seen broad adoption across academia and industry. BLIP helped pioneer the modern multimodal LLM paradigm and has surpassed 200 million downloads on Hugging Face. Moirai is an industry-leading foundation model for time series, spearheading the “ChatGPT moment” for forecasting.
