10 Gender Equality Heroes in Honor of International Women’s Day

On March 8, we celebrate International Women’s Day around the globe. We are inspired by trailblazing women who have gone where there is no clear path and instead, forged a new one. Here are some gender quality heroes we want to highlight.

On March 8, we celebrate International Women’s Day around the globe.  Established in 1911, the purpose of this day is to take the time to acknowledge the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women everywhere. Throughout time, women have triumphed and trailblazed to address inequalities and create a better future for all.

At Salesforce, we are inspired by trailblazing women who have gone where there is no clear path and instead, forged a new one. Whether in areas like  STEM, arts, business or civil rights — we are moved by their leadership.

During March, which is also Women’s History Month, we want to highlight 10 of the many gender equality trailblazers who have inspired us. Gender equality is not only an essential human right for women — but it also creates a thriving world for all.

As former First Lady, Michelle Obama once said:
