Introducing Quick Pages (Beta): Tailored Views for Every Role

Build and share single-page apps directly in Salesforce, while maintaining governance and IT control.

As an admin, you spend days building views for specific business requests, knowing you can’t build one view to suit every user. At the same time, settling for a diluted, one-size-fits-none experience means that nobody’s actual needs are met, and tickets requesting alternative views quickly pile up. When users can’t find what they need or a page introduces too much friction, they take matters into their own hands and export data from Salesforce into unapproved tools. This fills an immediate need, but the view quickly becomes stale with old data, and IT teams are left with security blind spots. As Jodie Miners, a Salesforce MVP put it, “When users take data outside of the secure environment, the organisation loses control over data integrity and sharing.”

That’s why we created Quick Pages. Quick Pages lets users in your org build and share their own single-page apps directly in Salesforce, while you stay in control of what gets built. These apps are rich, interactive pages with dynamic charts, data tables, tabs, and actions. A Quick Page can take a variety of forms, such as an interactive quarterly forecast or an overview of open support cases by account. We embedded governance checks at every step, from how pages are built to how they are shared.

Quick Pages is currently available in beta. Here’s what Quick Pages does and how to enable it in your org.

Create reliable views with natural language

Quick Pages is grounded in your metadata, including custom objects and fields; it understands your org. Each view that a user constructs is context-aware, reliable, and true to your schema.

Here’s how Quick Pages work:

  1. Open Agentforce Cowork or the agent in the Quick Pages tab
  2. Describe the page’s requirements
  3. Watch a live preview of the page take shape

Built-in security and governance

Once deployed, sharing a view is simple and secure. You can share finished pages with individuals, public groups, or your entire org. Quick Pages follows the standard Salesforce security model, so people only see the data they have permission to access. These pages will continuously pull directly from your live data, so they never go stale.

Throughout the process, admins stay in complete control. Admins can view and manage every page created in your org. Building a page doesn’t change your org’s metadata, so data remains secure while users create a custom UI for their specific needs. You decide who builds pages by assigning the “Create and View Quick Pages (Beta)” permission set, and who reads them by assigning the “View Quick Pages (Beta)” permission set.

Powered by the Headless Toolkit

The Headless Toolkit brings Salesforce to every agent, app, and UI experience. Whether a page is built inside Quick Pages, through Agentforce Coworker, or by another AI client, it runs through the same platform services. It applies the same permission checks and data rules every time, keeping user-created pages from breaking your processes.

Get started today

Turn on Quick Pages in Setup: check prerequisites, enable the feature, and assign permission sets. Check out the details in the Quick Pages setup guide. During beta, AI chat in Quick Pages is free, but AI usage will be metered when this feature becomes generally available.

Pages created during the beta are read-only. Users can read data and share pages, but they cannot change records from a page yet. Pages created during beta will remain available to view after general availability.

What’s next

We’re exploring the next features to add to Quick Pages, and we’d like to hear which ones matter most to you.

  • The ability to change records from a page, so people can act on their data without leaving the page
  • Apex and Connect REST API support, so pages can get data from Apex classes and Connect REST API
  • Data 360 support
  • Claude integration, so people can create and view Quick Pages right from Claude
