Salesforce will host the inaugural Trailblazing Women Summit on Friday, March 22. During Women’s Month, we celebrate the trailblazing women that have inspired and empowered us in their respective fields of politics, civil rights, STEM, arts, or those who have stood up for gender equality.
The Trailblazing Women Summit will be an extraordinary full-day of programs that spotlight powerful stories and brave, authentic conversations. Some of our speakers include Sheila Marcelo, CEO of Care.com, Robin Washington, EVP and CFO of Gilead, Meena Harris, founder of the Phenomenal Woman Action Campaign, Neelie Kroes, the former Vice President of European Commission, and Melody McCloskey, CEO of StyleSeat among others.
By lifting as we rise, we elevate other women to be leaders and reach their full potential, all while creating a more equal world for all.

Leading with Authenticity
10:30 – 11:10 a.m.
Trailblazing leaders Leyla Seka EVP and GM, Mobile at Salesforce, Nabarupa Banerjee, VP Product, Walmart, Natalie Egan, CEO Translator LLC, and Ebony Beckwith, Chief Philanthropy Officer at Salesforce.org will share how they are innovating in business by leading with their authentic selves. Hear how their diverse experiences, unique perspectives, and commitment to staying true to their personal values helped them gain a competitive edge and go on to become some of the most influential leaders in business.
The Changing Landscape of Equality
11:30 a.m. – 12:05 p.m.
This panel features Paula Weinstein, the legendary Hollywood Producer and EVP of Tribeca Film Institute, Meena Harris, founder of the Phenomenal Women Campaign, MyKhanh Shelton, SVP Global Inclusion, Engagement and Diversity at 21st Century Fox, Cristina Jones, SVP, Customer and Trailblazer Marketing, and Jody Kohner, SVP, Employee Marketing and Engagement at Salesforce. Learn how they work to raise awareness on key gender equality issues within their companies and how they elevate stories from all communities in media and film.
Equality Keynote: A Conversation with Soledad O’Brien
4:00 – 4:30 p.m.
In this incredible keynote, Soledad O’Brien, broadcast journalist, Executive Producer, founder and CEO, will discuss her role as a CEO and perspectives on gender equality, race, and education. Hear her viewpoint on how we can all do more as equality allies and empower others.
At Salesforce, Equality is a core value and we are committed toward driving Equality for all. This includes equal rights, equal opportunity, equal education and equal pay for all. Since 2015, we have conducted equal pay assessments. As a result, we’ve invested $8.7 million to address any unexplained pay differences between men and women, as well as race and ethnicity in the U.S. We are doing this on an ongoing basis.
