Salesforce Tower Dublin Officially Opens as Talent Hub for Ireland and Europe

Dublin, Ireland — May 4, 2023 —Salesforce, the global leader in CRM, today announced the official opening of Salesforce Tower Dublin. An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar TD visited the new campus to celebrate the opening and recognize Ireland’s thriving technology sector.

Investing in Ireland as a growth engine for Europe

Salesforce has been investing in Ireland over the last two decades. It was the first location to open outside of the U.S. in 2000, firmly establishing Ireland as a significant hub for its European operations. The new campus will be Salesforce’s largest office in EMEA and home to employees from 28 different nationalities supporting Salesforce’s growing business across Europe.

Customer success and business development teams will provide implementation and technical solutions to help customers across the region to power their digital transformation. Business leaders are accelerating their adoption of cloud technologies and partnering with Salesforce as their trusted digital advisor. In Ireland, Salesforce is already working with leading businesses, including Kerry Group, Waystone, and cpl.

Giving back & local community

The Dublin campus includes two Ohana Floors which offer a unique and flexible space for Salesforce employees, customers and partners and will also be available for nonprofits, education groups, and foundations to host events on weeknights and weekends at no cost. Salesforce is focused on giving back by welcoming community organizations focused on humanitarian, environmental and social causes, as well as education and workforce development.

Innovative design & sustainability

Located on North Wall Quay in the heart of Dublin’s Silicon Docks, Salesforce Tower Dublin has been designed to meet the needs of the future workforce with a focus on collaboration, sustainability, and employee wellness. The innovative design has 70% more collaboration space than previous Salesforce offices and features a 150-person auditorium to foster a culture of collaboration and creativity.

It is one of the most sustainable buildings in Ireland, with double LEED Platinum certification and powered by 100% renewable energy assisted by rooftop solar panels. The green roof will be covered with plants to sequester carbon and 60,000 bees to help the pollination and biodiversity of inner city Dublin. Thousands of internal plants will make up a network of living walls and planters to improve air quality.

The building has been restored back to the protected former beauty of the British Rail Hotel — an iconic building where Irish people would spend their last nights in Ireland before emigrating to other parts of the world. The space will be open to the public through retail outlets and the winter garden.
