Twenty years ago, 1,000 Salesforce customers gathered in downtown San Francisco for the first-ever Dreamforce. What started as a small gathering for our customers has since become the largest software conference in the world and an epic annual family reunion. Throughout the pandemic, we innovated with new ways to share the Dreamforce magic with our customers, partners, Trailblazers and communities.
Dreamforce never stopped, but this year we’re going big and coming home to Moscone Center, unlocking the magic that only Salesforce can deliver. We’re thrilled to announce that Dreamforce 2022 — our most impactful Dreamforce ever — will return to San Francisco from September 20 through September 22, bringing the entire Salesforce community home for our 20th anniversary. Tens of thousands of in-person attendees and millions online, including on Salesforce+, will come together for three full days of learning, connection, fun, and giving back.
Bringing our Trailblazers home to San Francisco
We’re proud to partner with the city of San Francisco to bring the full Salesforce ecosystem back together in our own backyard. Salesforce remains committed to the future of San Francisco and will continue to invest in the city that has given so much to us. Collectively, Dreamforce 2022 — and its partner and ancillary events — is projected to generate $40 million for the city.

Dreamforce 2022: The most innovative Dreamforce ever
Salesforce Co-CEOs Marc Benioff and Bret Taylor will kick off the event with an opening keynote live from the Moscone Center, highlighting Salesforce’s mission, our global Trailblazer community, customer success stories, and the latest Salesforce product innovations. As the week progresses, we’ll also hear from:
- Global companies that have used Customer 360 to transform their businesses and wow their customers.
- Trailblazers who are using Salesforce to create new paths and are building a better world for others.
- Hundreds of expert and luminary speakers, who will share how they are leading the way in philanthropy, sustainability, equality, reskilling, and digital transformation.
Tens of thousands of on-site attendees will have access to exclusive in-person content and experiences. They’ll connect with industry peers, thought leaders and product experts, and witness the full power of Salesforce with Tableau, MuleSoft, and Slack. Throughout the week, there will be in-person opportunities for giving back and celebration. Dreamfest, our benefit concert for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, will deliver another Grammy-stage worthy performance.
Salesforce+ will allow our global community to connect to Dreamforce anytime from anywhere. More than 40 hours of live broadcast content and 100 new on-demand episodes showing the latest innovations and biggest highlights from Dreamforce will live exclusively on Salesforce+. Viewers will also have access to sessions from the United Nations General Assembly and Climate Week to hear from world leaders about some of today’s most pressing issues.
