Tuesday Agenda: Keynotes and Celebrations on Day 2 of Connections ‘19

Day 2 of Connections ‘19 is full of keynotes, sessions, and big party. Here are your agenda items for the day.

Did you have a good first day at Connections? We hope so because Day 2 is when we really kick things into high gear. Today you’ll hear all about our vision for customer engagement in the opening keynote, and then see how that translates to our products for marketing and commerce (the service keynote will be tomorrow). But you’ll want to save some energy for later in the day: we’ll be partying the night away at our epic Trailblazer celebration. Let’s get going:

Can’t make it to Chicago? Watch from anywhere on Salesforce LIVE.

1. Become a Trailblazer: the Connections opening keynote

An incredible wave of technical innovation is transforming our daily lives — these are the effects of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Behind these new technologies are customers demanding smarter, faster, and more personalized engagement. In this year’s opening keynote entitled “Become a Trailblazer: Build a 360° View of Your Customer,” please join Salesforce CMO Stephanie Buscemi as she shares how Trailblazers are reinventing their companies, careers, and industries.

2. Engage across the entire journey in the marketing keynote

Join us for the marketing keynote featuring leading Trailblazers from Salesforce, the WNBA Fever, Michael Page, and the Brain Tumour Charity. Featuring the theme of reimagining engagement, presenters will discuss what the future of marketing looks like and how to evolve marketing to truly deliver on the single view of the customer for both insight and engagement.

3. Create impact through inclusive marketing

We know that consumers are increasingly holding brands acctountable and choosing to buy from companies that get it right. In this session, you’ll hear from Salesforce’s CMO Stephanie Buscemi, Hyatt’s VP Brand Marketing Heather Geisler, and leaders at some of the world’s most inspiring brands on how they are deepening customer connections through thoughtful marketing that reflects and amplifies the diverse communities they serve. This discussion is particularly timely as we’ve seen brands both excel and misstep in these areas recently. Join us and learn actionable ways that your company can build brand and customer loyalty with inclusive marketing.

4. Power premium experiences in the commerce keynote

Whether online or in-store, using a voice-assistant, or social or mobile apps, customer behavior is transforming commerce for both B2C and B2B businesses. That means that artificial intelligence is a powerful tool for engaging with customers on their terms at every step of their buying journey. Check out the Commerce keynote to learn how Salesforce accelerates your business and powers premium shopping experiences.

5. Learn how companies do well by doing good

In recent years, purpose-driven business models have been finding success selling both their products and their ideals. With an increase in the public’s civic interest, and where 87% of Americans will purchase a product because a company advocated for an issue they cared about, it’s more important than ever for businesses to create positive value. In this eye-opening session, learn how leading businesses like Lyft, State Farms, and (RED) are seeing success by doing good and making the world a better place.

6. Rock out at the Trailblazer celebration

We have no doubt that you’ll know how to spell “bananas” by the end of the night. Grammy-award winning artist Gwen Stefani takes the stage as Trailblazers party the night away. Be sure to take your badge and ID, but leave your backpacks, laptops and selfie sticks back at the hotel.
