Small businesses need our help now more than ever. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been supporting my favorite San Francisco small businesses, Noe Valley Pet Company and Barons Quality Meat & Seafood, by safely purchasing at a distance.
But beyond the personal, it’s important for corporations to support small businesses at this time, too. At Salesforce, we are committed to giving back to our communities. We want to ensure the small businesses near and dear to our hearts have a chance to get through this current crisis. That's why we're announcing the Salesforce Care Small Business Grants to help small businesses get the resources they need.
Here’s how we are helping the small business community through this uncertain time:
Our Salesforce Care Small Business Grants program offers $10,000 in grants to U.S. small businesses to provide capital to help them weather this crisis. The application for U.S. businesses is now closed. We will announce international small business support shortly, for a total financial commitment of $5 million. See here for the latest information regarding Salesforce Care Small Business Grants.
As part of the Salesforce Care initiative, we want to make it easier for our customers to help and support their customers remotely. We’re offering Salesforce Essentials, our out-of-the-box customer relationship management (CRM) tool for small businesses, and Tableau, the tool to help organizations make data-driven decisions, for free.
