Luis was the first apprentice on the People with Disabilities program and he is now going from strength to strength, even acting as a mentor for the next generation of apprentices on the program.
Luis Salazar is a Salesforce professional and Agentblazer Champion, with an MIT Sloan MBA, driven by a profound passion for accessibility, inclusion, and the transformative power of technology. His philosophy is clear: innovation should always be human-centered, actively working to remove barriers, amplify potential, and forge meaningful connections.
In his current role as a Workforce Development Technical Associate, Luis is at the forefront of building scalable, data-driven systems that beautifully bridge strategy, automation, and inclusivity. As the future rapidly shifts towards agentic enterprises, he finds immense inspiration in how the powerful trio of Data + AI + CRM can empower organisations to operate smarter, with greater inclusivity, and a deeper sense of purpose.
Throughout his apprenticeship, Luis achieved an impressive nine Salesforce certifications. His dedication and expertise even led him to represent Salesforce on a national stage, traveling to attend the prestigious Disability:IN conference and our very own Dreamforce! Supported by vital partnerships with organizations like the Blind Institute of Technology, the People with Disabilities program provides a holistic ecosystem of support, ensuring apprentices don’t just participate, but truly thrive.
Luis’s journey isn’t just a personal success, it’s a testament to the incredible impact of programs designed to connect passionate individuals with fulfilling career opportunities.
Reflecting on the completion of his apprenticeship, Luis shared, “What an incredible journey it’s been! Closing out this amazing experience… has reminded me how powerful accessibility, collaboration, and opportunity can be when they come together.” And after his inspiring presence at Dreamforce, he added, “Grateful to have learned alongside such inspiring people, to share knowledge, and to celebrate what we’ve built together. Every session was a reminder that inclusion drives innovation, and that the Salesforce ecosystem truly thrives when everyone has a seat at the table”
