Alan Kan

I'm a Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) with 18+ years of Salesforce expertise, based between Vienna and London. I studied at the University of Cambridge and built my career across Deloitte Consulting, MSCI, and P&G before joining Salesforce. Today, as a Forward Deployed Engineer Director, I work hands-on with enterprises, helping them become truly agentic, transforming how they operate with AI, data, and Agentforce at the core.

My focus spans multi-cloud architecture, integration and security design, and AI-driven transformation — with deep experience in Health & Life Sciences and Public Sector. As a former EMEA CTA Lead and active CTA Review Board judge and mentor, I've coached dozens of architects through their CTA journey. I hold certifications across Application, System, Data, Integration, and AI Architecture, and I'm passionate about turning agentic strategy into production-ready outcomes.

You'll usually find me on a yoga mat or underwater scuba diving — both give me the same focus and calm that architecture demands. I'm also involved in philanthropy and pro-bono community work as Philanthropy Lead for Outforce UK. I believe in a growth mindset and lifelong learning, which recently led me to an undergraduate certificate in cognitive psychology and Cognitive Industry Engineering — feeding my curiosity around leadership and impactful communication..
