My background
I joined Salesforce in 2011 as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Chief Futures Officer, leading a foresight and scenario-planning team called Salesforce Futures. Before Salesforce, I co-founded and chaired the Global Business Network, a pioneering scenario-planning firm. I hold a degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and spent a decade at SRI International earlier in my career.
My expertise
I manage Salesforce's ongoing strategic conversation and scenario planning, helping the company and its customers think through long-range futures shaped by AI, geopolitics, and technology shifts. I'm the author of several books, including "The Art of the Long View," a seminal work on scenario planning, and have consulted on films like Minority Report and WarGames.
