Rasheed Badawi leads AI Search and LLM Search optimization efforts at Salesforce, helping the organization adapt to how discovery is evolving across Google, generative AI platforms, and large language models. From leading Technical SEO, he transitioned his focus as search behavior shifts more towards conversational interfaces and AI-generated answers. From optimizing for traditional SEO rankings alone to optimizing for retrieval, citation, and influence within LLM-driven environments. Currently pursuing his PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, aiming to reinforce his work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and digital discovery.

Over the past 12 years, Rasheed led enterprise SEO and digital growth programs across both global brands and performance-driven agencies driving search efforts across Thermo Fisher Scientific, Deckers, Expedia, Samsung, Lowes and Hulu. He has aligned organic and paid search, data science, content, engineering, and social teams around unified discovery strategies. Driving measurable growth, uncovering multimillion-dollar efficiencies, and building scalable unified frameworks. His work has earned recognition from the US Search Awards and multiple Drum Marketing Awards for innovation and measurable impact in enterprise search strategy.

Rasheed runs external AI Search enablements helping marketers understand how LLMs interpret and surface information. He enjoys translating complex AI concepts into practical guidance that teams can apply immediately. Outside of digital discovery, Rasheed swaps screen time for tools, timber, and time outdoors. He’s rarely without a Home DIY project queued; whether it’s building, repairing, or renovating. In the backyard, he helps his wife in gardening, landscaping and caring for their chickens, trading algorithms for fresh air. When the weekend hits (without snow), he’s usually at his Kamado grill, pushing it further trying to discover what it can’t do (so far nothing).
