Tim Breeden

I’m the Editor-in-Chief for the Salesforce Well-Archited team, currently driving efforts for our Architecture Center updates and new content standards. For the large majority of my career, I’ve led Engineering and Product Management groups, which has always involved producing content. The best part of my journey has been working with great people who love what they do, and who care for one another. Without a doubt, relationships are reflected in the products and services any group creates.

Over 25 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to deliver enterprise software, from platforms to data protection offerings to API-first developer tools. My career has involved starting multiple products from day zero, touching strategy, architecture, and implementation along the way. I love making customers successful as my teams meet their needs for product functionality, reliability, performance and scalability, and ease of use. This brings them back, time and again.

Away from work, I’m a dad, a struggling guitar player, and a constant consumer of college sports. I have a keen interest in historical/textual criticism of ancient manuscripts, which feeds my curiosity and keeps my brain busy. The wonder of our universe amazes me. Whether it’s finite or infinite, each blows my mind. Learning is my greatest joy.
