How Our EMEA Futureforce Interns are Making a Real Impact

Futureforce EMEA interns have fun at their onboarding event

We see talented interns across Europe transform from eager learners into key contributors who deliver real results for our customers and their communities.

At Salesforce, we believe the next generation of innovators aren’t just getting ready for the future—they’re already building it. Our EMEA Futureforce internship program proves this every single day. We see talented interns across Europe transform from eager learners into key contributors who deliver real results for our customers and their communities.

This year’s cohort has shown us something truly special: when you mix curiosity with the right technology and mentorship, there’s no limit to what can be achieved. Just take a look at some of their fantastic wins from the past few months at Salesforce.

Driving Real Business Results

Our Futureforce interns are already leading the charge in their respective teams. Take Fredrik Schultz in Sweden, for example. He developed a predictive risk model that helped secure a $200,000 deal with the retail company ITAB. The impact was so clear that ITAB’s VP, Tom O’Donnell, called his work “amazing”.

In Denmark, Bence Lakatos worked at the highest level to support the sales team by qualifying eight key accounts. But that’s not all — he also spent his time at Salesforce founding an EMEA Student Committee to make the program even more connected for future interns in his region.

Meanwhile, in Norway, Evenezer Yonas Mebrahtu put together a strategic proposal for SATS, a gym group based in the region, worth €200,000. With his deep insights and sharp questions, Evenezer demonstrated his ability to take charge of a room, and commit to a customer’s success from Day 1.

Where Innovation Meets Giving Back

What makes Salesforce different is our 1-1-1 model of giving back, and our interns live these values every day in the most innovative ways. Fredrik helped a nonprofit win a Hackathon, securing 150,000 SEK to build an AI solution to fight child poverty in Sweden. This tool helps the organization, Majblomman, process cases faster so children can get the support they need sooner.

In Norway, Kristina Luque Jegleim focused on building the kind of client relationships that strengthen long-term partnerships. Her work perfectly balanced business goals with community needs—a true reflection of our values in action.

Leading the AI Revolution

As we move further into the era of AI and “Agentforce,” our interns are leading the charge. In the Netherlands, Jochem van der Klis took the lead on an AI Hackathon and even created a handbook to help his entire team master new AI tools. By starting an AI committee, he proved that an intern can be a true “change agent” for an entire organization — and that you don’t have to wait to make an impact at Salesforce.

Building a Community of Leaders

Beyond the individual wins, the EMEA Futureforce program is about building a community. Bence’s work with the Student Committee ensures that every intern has a voice and a support network.

As Laurits Gabriel Søe from Denmark put it, the Futureforce program made him “rethink what I have achieved as a sales intern”—could you be next?
