Earn Your Next Superbadge Together: Introducing Cohort Learning

Four colleagues smiling and collaborating in a brightly lit modern office setting using laptops and tablets, with a video call overlay in the bottom left showing a smiling man wearing headphones and waving.

Discover how Superbadge Cohort Learning brings Trailblazers together to tackle real-world scenarios, build problem-solving skills, and earn superbadges side-by-side.

Want to turn Salesforce theory into job-ready skills? That’s where Trailhead superbadges come in. Designed around realistic, hands-on business scenarios, superbadges challenge Trailblazers to think critically, apply their skills, and solve problems. And while completing a superbadge independently is rewarding, there’s something special about learning and overcoming challenges together.

That’s why we are excited to introduce Superbadge Cohort Learning, a collaborative, community-driven approach designed to help Trailblazers learn together, overcome roadblocks, and earn superbadges side-by-side!

What is Superbadge Cohort Learning?

Superbadge Cohort Learning brings Trailblazers together, in-person or virtually, to work through a superbadge as a group instead of doing it alone. Rather than simply following step-by-step instructions, participants build the logic-based problem-solving skills needed for real-world Salesforce scenarios—learning both the how (technical implementation) and the why (the business logic behind the solution) through peer collaboration.

Whether held in-person or online, every session follows a clear, supportive rhythm:

  • Orientation: Get acquainted and review the core business scenario.
  • Collaborative problem-solving: Work through complex requirements side-by-side with peers.
  • Troubleshooting and guidance: Overcome edge cases with peer support and facilitator guidance.
  • Shared success: Celebrate your superbadge completions and new skills as a team.

Proving the model: lessons from pilots

To test and refine these experiences, we have been running superbadge cohort pilots using a blended facilitator-led model across both in-person and virtual formats. Feedback from our initial groups has been overwhelmingly positive.

Learners gained the confidence and support needed to tackle tough requirements, while facilitators experienced the immense satisfaction of guiding peers to success.

Collaborating in a group kept me fully engaged and accountable, empowering me to complete the superbadge end-to-end within the session rather than leaving it unfinished.

What you gain as a participant

If you’re joining a cohort as a learner, here is what you can expect:

  • Learn together, succeed together: Swap insights, discuss complex business scenarios, and work through edge cases with fellow Trailblazers.
  • Facilitator guidance: Receive support from experienced community members who help keep you moving forward without spoiling the technical challenge.
  • Expanded professional network: Build lasting relationships with peers in your local community across the global Salesforce ecosystem.

Benefits for facilitators

Facilitating is more than guiding others through a superbadge. It’s a chance to multiply your impact across the Trailblazer Community.

Here are the tools you receive as a facilitator:

  • Adaptable presentation deck: Pre-built with structured pacing, speaker notes, and interactive break points tailored for any audience or format.
  • End-to-end facilitator guide: A step-by-step operational playbook covering room dynamics, breakout group strategies, technical troubleshooting, and guided wrap-ups.
  • Participant onboarding pack: Ready to use communications, pre-event surveys, and “know before you go” checklists designed to align expectations and build balanced cohorts.
  • Feedback toolkit: Simple automated tools to collect real-time participant input, track event impact, and directly shape future program updates.

When you lead a session, you multiply your impact, give back to the ecosystem, and build your reputation as a community leader.

What’s Next?

We’re just getting started. The success of our initial pilots is fueling new session guides for additional superbadges and upcoming cohorts. As we expand, community involvement is key to shaping where cohort learning goes next.
