Salesforce.com Foundation Receives Award For Outstanding Philanthropic Contribution
UKSA recognises Foundation for their help in achieving broader community outreach and awareness
Salesforce.com Foundation, the global leader in integrating philanthropy and business, today announced its philanthropic efforts have been recognised by one of the country’s most high-profile maritime charities, the UK Sailing Academy (UKSA).
Presented by the UKSA’s patron, HRH The Princess Royal, the ‘Inspirational Partnership Award’ was awarded to Salesforce.com Foundation for its dedication to the UKSA partnership vision.
Salesforce.com Foundation has worked with the charity for seven years and has donated the industry’s leading cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application free of charge, along with employees volunteering their time and efforts to assist in UKSA activities. Salesforce CRM is used to execute and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns for the UKSA enabling them to engage with new audiences and increase brand awareness.
Ciaran Rogers, marketing manager at UKSA, said: “Salesforce CRM has been massively influential in terms of our reach and ability to communicate with a much broader audience, allowing us to promote our life-changing work to the online community. As such, the application donation has been at the core of our work over the last seven years.”
“The level of commitment, drive, belief and enthusiasm shown by the salesforce.com team has consistently been outstanding. This award recognises the company’s generosity and dedication, which has led to a strong and fruitful collaboration that we hope will continue for many more years.”
Sponsored by Liz Earle Beauty Co. Ltd, the award was one of four presented at the inaugural UKSA 'Celebrating Achievement' awards.
Isabel Kelly, International Director at Salesforce.com Foundation, said: “It is a real honour to be presented with this award for our work with the UKSA, particularly as the winners were judged by the charity’s executive team – to know it has come straight from the heart of one of our beneficiaries makes it all the more meaningful.”
“At salesforce.com we are incredibly proud of our foundation, which exists to apply the core strengths of salesforce.com to help organisations further their social mission, deepen their impact and better the lives of those in need. It has been a real privilege to work alongside the UKSA, supporting its life-changing work.”
