Katja Franz

I lead the Merchant experience for Commerce Cloud with a team of highly-experienced product managers. I came to Salesforce through the aquisition of Demandware in 2016, where I spent the decade prior working with global brands and retailers on the evolution of digital storefronts and engaging shopper journeys.

Having spend over two decades in ecommerce, I've learned how to grounding myself in data, the importance of good interface design, and that solving tactical problems often matters more than making large strategic shifts. Being a consumer myself while building products that enhance the consumer experience is the best of both worlds. I love collaborating with customers and shaping the next iteration of commerce.

You can find me out and about, enjoying California: at the beach, hiking or venturing into a new restaurant. On rare occasions when Southern California does not allow outdoor activities, I turn to True Crime documentaries and podcasts.
