Mia Jordan is Regional Vice President for Federal Civilian at Salesforce, helping federal agencies modernize operations and improve public service. A two-time former federal CIO and U.S. Air Force veteran, she brings firsthand experience leading technology strategy, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and AI adoption across government. Mia is a recipient of a 2026 Service to the Citizen award for Using Innovation, Data and Breaking Down Organizational Barriers. Mia began her college journey at Florida A&M University and remains a proud Rattler with an active connection to the FAMU community.

Mia is the co-author of Late Night With AI: Understanding AI for the Bot-Curious. The book places ChatGPT, Claude, Mistral, and other AI models in the guest seat of a late-night talk show. Through humor, tension, and unexpected conversations, it explores how people experience AI, how to use chatbots as thinking partners, and how to decide which systems to trust, for what, and why.
When I'm not working
Mia leads @SmartWithAI, an education platform helping professionals, parents, and young people build confidence using AI in work and daily life. Her mission is to help one million people become AI literate. She also enjoys strength training, traveling, supporting her daughter's gymnastics journey, and spending time with her three children.
