Steve Stearns

Steve Stearns is a Forward Deployed Engineer Director who has been with Salesforce for 15 years. Steve started as a Technical Architect in Professional Services building complex custom implementations for some of Salesforce’s largest customers. Having moved into the Success team several years ago, his role has evolved from a focus on scale and performance to being part of the growing efforts around Agentforce.

I come from a developer background, so I’m very comfortable getting into the technical details of Agentforce and the broader Salesforce platform. I’ve worked with some of our biggest Salesforce customers, and regularly found myself pushing the limits of what the platform could do. When I’m not working with AI at Salesforce, I’m often using it for my hobby projects.

I wasn’t born in Chicago, but it has definitely become my home. I really enjoy going for walks around the city, whether it be down on the lake shore, or through Wrigleyville on game day. My wife and I are big music lovers and we’re always exploring the jazz and blues scene that Chicago is famous for.
