Jenny’s journey to sales enablement
Jenny’s career began as a Salesforce Admin and IT professional at several Fortune 500 companies before landing at Salesforce as a Business Systems Analyst – and she hasn’t looked back.
Today, she is the Senior Director of Seller Productivity and leads a team of passionate Salesforce Admins and Developers who are dedicated to enhancing the productivity and efficiency of Salesforce’s 25,000 internal sellers using tools like Agentforce. “It’s my job to ensure that the right solutions are in place to help support our sellers,” she says.
For some ambitious trailblazers, continuous learning and upskilling means trying on new roles and jumping to new teams. For Jenny, it means she has been able to evolve and adapt and help drive the organization forward becoming an expert within her function.

“I’ve progressed my career within this team over the last 8 years, transforming and shaping the way this team has grown and supports the overall organization objectives and strategic initiatives. ” Whenever Jenny is asked why trying new teams wasn’t a goal on her career roadmap, she eagerly shares: “It’s my dream job; I love the technology and I get fulfillment knowing my work is directly helping a sales org. And, as a leader, I get to help my team grow.”

“What used to take hours to manually pull together from various sources can now be done in under a minute with Agentforce – giving back valuable time to our sellers.” Jenny shares. “They can access these tools in Salesforce, Slack, or on their phones to quickly show the value to our customers!”

Supporting sellers with training and enablement
Once Jenny’s team builds these tools, they don’t just release them and step back to let the sales teams figure it out on their own; her enablement counterparts jump in with extensive change management, communication, and training.
Salesforce ensures that sellers are equipped with the right resources, including (but not limited to!) user guides, office hours, and on-the-job training. “Whenever we launch a new agent or any new Sales tool, we ensure our sellers are able to learn it, use it, and sell it effectively,” Jenny emphasizes. “Adoption and utilization is just as important as launching the product.”

AI tools are already being widely adopted in many workplaces. However, Jenny advises the key difference is no longer just providing AI tools but also having continuous enablement to train salespeople on how to be mature AI users, preparing them for advances like the introduction of agentic AI.

Embracing continuous learning and change

Jenny attributes her tenure at Salesforce to her love of learning and willingness to embrace change.
Salesforce’s product evolution incorporating AI – from predictive to generative and now agentic – has been a transformative journey for Jenny as a leader. In her role, she needs to stay up to date with the latest advancements in Agentforce, Salesforce on Salesforce opportunities, and overall AI to ultimately help upskill and develop her team and the sellers they support.
“One of the key aspects of my role is to be a catalyst for change, so that I can understand and communicate the benefits of AI, address concerns, and always ensure we’re using AI ethically,” Jenny explains. “That way, I can build an Agentforce-first culture and empower my teams to try new things, learn, grow, and make an impact for the sales org. There’s always something to learn.”
When asked what makes anyone successful at Salesforce, Jenny shares:
“The people who succeed are the ones that truly embrace the change mindset. Change in the Salesforce platform is inevitable, and that’s the beauty of it – you keep upskilling. There are so many resources that allow my teams to stay on top of the latest and greatest.”
