Retailers around the UK and Europe are gearing up for the year’s prime event - Retail Week Live. After the huge success and excitement of New York’s NRF Big Show, things are starting to heat up in London. 

Each March, Retail Week brings together the industry’s sharpest minds in a two day experience like no other, which pushes the boundaries and offers insiders the chance to learn next trends and innovations. The likes of Sir Richard Branson and Sir Charlie Mayfield often grace the crowd, and this year will see John Edgar of Harrods, John Allan of Tesco, and Howard Lerman of the up and coming Yext joining their ranks.

This year's Retail Week Live is sure not to disappoint. Expect to be immersed in the hot conversations of customer centricity, Brexit affairs, and digital transformation. 

Here are my top 4 “must sees” for Retail Week Live, 8-9th March:

1. Mike Coupe, Sainsbury’s Opening Remarks

Sainsbury’s needs no introduction, but this powerhouse grocer’s chief executive Mike Coupe, is sure to deliver an electric opener to the event’s start. You’ll hear the story behind their Argos acquisition, and how the takeover is changing the future for their business, and their customers. Be sure to get in early, as the doors will be packed for a 09.00 start. 

2. Amazon and Morrisons

They’re not on stage together, but catch them speaking separately and watch for interconnecting ties. The tech and grocery giants partnered up in 2016 to deliver Amazon Fresh in the UK, and made headlines around the world with their success. Each are using technology to experiment and drive customer centricity to new heights.

3. The Shopper Success Park 

For those attending Retail Week Live, one of the biggest draws is the quality networking and social aspects to the event.
