Introducing Think Like an Architect: A New Livestream Series

Learn how to design future-ready solutions in our new livestream series. Break down real-world scenarios, join live Q&As, and vote on the topics you want to see next.
Designing trusted, easy, and adaptable solutions requires more than just the latest product knowledge. You need to also know how to think through complexity, trade-offs, and long-term impact. In our new livestream series on LinkedIn, Think Like an Architect, Salesforce experts break down real-world scenarios and show you how to analyze problems, validate your assumptions, and design solutions built for the future.
What is Think Like an Architect?
Think Like an Architect is a new livestream series that illustrates how architects break down today’s challenges, validate their assumptions and design solutions built for the future.
Each monthly episode focuses on a particular business challenge or use case. Using a clear, three-step approach, we’ll guide you through the thought process and diagram the solution, including:
1. The What:
Understanding and breaking down the requirements into logical pieces
2. The How:
Aligning the solution to the requirements holistically
3. The Why:
Tracking the trade-offs and justifications behind the solution for stakeholder alignment
At the end of each episode, you’ll be able to join an interactive Q&A to get answers from our experts on the approach or solution presented in the episode.
Think Like an Architect: Grounding Agentforce in Dynamic External Documentation
Join us for the first episode where we’ll break down a real-world scenario where Agentforce is grounded in constantly evolving, external unstructured data. Tune in on LinkedIn Jan. 15 at 10:00 a.m. ET / 7:00 a.m. PT and get your questions answered live.
Why we’re launching this series
As part of the Salesforce Architecture Program relaunch, we’ve been listening closely to the Salesforce Architect Community to develop new content that would be most beneficial to you As a result, we created the Think Like an Architect series based on three consistent themes:
- Architects value practical, prescriptive guidance: We dive into relevant scenarios and teach a repeatable, three-step approach to architectural thinking that can be applied to any project.
- Virtual, live formats support the global community: This virtual series is accessible to architects around the world. With space for interactive Q&A in every episode, attendees can engage directly with experts, get answers to their top questions, and learn from participants’ questions.
- The architect mindset benefits everyone building on Salesforce: While our Architect Relations team designed this series with architects in mind, learning how to Think Like an Architect also helps admins, developers, and technical leaders design solutions at scale.
Think Like an Architect makes architectural thinking visible and accessible. Our goal is to empower everyone to design trusted solutions that are adaptable.
What to expect
Each month, Think Like an Architect will be live on LinkedIn. We will feature architects working through scenarios step-by-step to show not just what to build, but why certain decisions matter.
While we’ll highlight specific use cases, we will also cover thinking through broader topics like consumption pricing or multi-cloud integrations. Regardless of the topic, every episode includes a business challenge that we will break down and solve, followed by dedicated Q&A time.
