Some people get excited about sneaker and game drops. Others are always hoping their favorite artist will announce new music soon (Author’s note: Rihanna, if you’re reading this, it’s never too late for a new album.) But for us here at Salesforce, our favorite drop actually happens three times a year.
It’s better known as a Salesforce Release, and the Spring ‘26 Release started rolling out a few weeks ago! To get up to speed, this blog will take you through what you absolutely need to know about the new Marketing features.

This webinar will walk you through the innovations that change your workday, including demos of new features.
What is a Salesforce Release?
Before we get into cool features and all the best resources, let’s pump the brakes and make sure we’re all familiar with what exactly a release is.
Releases happen three times a year: Spring, Summer, and Winter. Each release comes packed with new features and updates designed to make your life easier. A release happens over a few weeks, and you’ll need to check the Trust and Maintenance Site to see when your org will update. Click “Instances” and then on your instance to see your specific maintenance dates.
If you’ve never navigated a release before, we suggest taking this Trailhead module to get all the details.
What new features are in the Spring ‘26 release?
Whew. Now that we’ve covered what a release is and how it works, let’s get into the fun stuff coming to Agentforce Marketing in the Spring ‘26 Release.
The era of conversations is here: Conversational Email. Why stick “do not reply” on every email when an AI agent can reply to every customer? With Conversational Email, your company can handle any reply that a recipient sends your way.
Whether they have a question about the product, discounts, returns, or even if they have service questions, the agent is there to quickly help. Since the agent can seamlessly loop in a human when needed, it’s a win for your customers and a win for you. This means your marketing team can turn every customer interaction into a continuous conversation.

Solve Attribution Mysteries: Multi-touch Attribution. The last click your customer made before buying those jeans is likely not the only reason they made a purchase. Marketing teams spend lots of time and energy creating multiple touch points to engage and nurture customers. It’s only fair that all those touchpoints get some credit for the final sale, right?
That’s where Multi-touch attribution comes in. It’s able to analyze how your newest customer interacted with your brand’s marketing at every stage in their process (not just the last one). Now your team can easily review that data with out-of-the-box dashboards. These will help your team see exactly which marketing touchpoints drove revenue, and help give credit where credit is due.

Make Loyalty more rewarding: Partner Account Linking. You offer cool rewards for your customers. Chances are, other businesses also offer cool rewards. Imagine how excited your customer would be if they could link those rewards accounts and get more out of working with both businesses. That’s what Partner Account Linking does.
For example, a movie theater and restaurant chain can use shared data to own the ‘Date Night’ market. The restaurant could target loyal theater-goers with pre-show dinner specials, then allow them to convert their meal points into movie tickets. It’s a win-win: the restaurant captures the pre-movie crowd, and the theater increases mid-week attendance through cross-promotional rewards.
