Smarter pricing, zero setup: Shopper Agent handles gross tax configuration
As autonomous AI agents play a larger role in the customer journey, precision matters. This is especially true when it comes to pricing. When a customer interacts with your shopper agent to adjust item quantities, apply localized promotional codes, or finalize a cart, it’s crucial that the prices reflected always match the exact gross totals displayed on your storefront.
That’s why we’ve given the Shopper Agent a critical intelligence upgrade in this release: native Gross Tax Configuration support. The Shopper Agent now automatically identifies and honors gross taxation rules directly inside cart and checkout flows across both SFRA and PWA storefronts — requiring absolutely zero manual development or logic mapping.
For developers: AI-driven development and seamless workflows
You don’t have to write every single line of code anymore. The Agentic B2C Developer Toolkit introduces a unified Command Line Interface (CLI), Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, IDE Extension, and advanced agent skills. You can now use your favorite AI coding agents (like Agentforce Vibes, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) to spin up sandboxes, deploy cartridges, create new components and manage jobs via simple conversational prompts.

- Seamless Developer Insights and Intelligence: The latest Visual Studio Code extension provides full-spectrum debugging for your controllers, custom hooks, and back-end jobs. Gain immediate access to comprehensive documentation and real-time typing for all B2C APIs to keep your commerce logic precise and performant.
- Autonomous Debugging and Log Monitoring: Empower your Agents with advanced skills and MCP integration to handle troubleshooting autonomously. By monitoring system logs and grounding themselves in technical schemas, these agents eliminate manual hand-offs and accelerate your inner-loop development cycles.
- Integrated Safety Guardrails and Controls: Protect your environment by establishing strict confirmation rules and guardrails for both human teams and autonomous agents, tailored specifically to each instance configuration.
- Streamlined CI/CD with GitHub Actions: Utilize our officially supported GitHub Actions to rapidly orchestrate your deployment pipelines. These pre-configured workflows automate deployments across your storefront’s front-end, back-end logic, and critical data assets for maximum efficiency.
Even better? The Figma-to-Component toolset converts UI design files straight into production-ready Storefront Next React components.
- Zero-Effort Infrastructure: Business Manager now automates your entire setup process. It provisions your Managed Runtime (MRT) environments, Salesforce Commerce API clients, routes your eCDN default domains, and creates your GitHub storefront repository automatically. Page Designer with OOTB pages and components also get automatically set up without requiring developers.
- The Market Street Blueprint: Skip the repetitive foundational work. Storefront Next includes the Market Street retail template, offering pre-built, high-performing designs for Product Detail Pages (PDPs), Product Listing Pages (PLPs), Checkout and rich “My Account” portals complete with wishlists and store locators.
- Built-in Testing with Storybook: Use the integrated Storybook environment to build, view, and run automated isolation tests on your custom React UI components before they go live.

For merchandisers: Say hello to your all-new Business Manager command center
Running a digital store shouldn’t mean fighting with your tooling. Our latest updates turn Business Manager into an automated engine that takes the friction out of day-to-day operations.
Drag-and-Drop page control
Merchandisers can now customize key Storefront Next layouts and content natively inside Page Designer. You can modify Homepages, About Us sections, PLPs, and PDPs on the fly, tailoring your promotional banners and content layouts to specific customer groups or seasonal windows without asking engineering for help.
Unified lifecycle management with Content Blocks and Workspace
You shouldn’t have to build the same design element over and over. With the new Content Blocks module, you can build modular, reusable pieces of content once and manage them from a single location. Simply save your components as content blocks (including content, styling, localized values, and visibility rules), then manage their entire lifecycle in Business Manager. You can easily see scheduling and campaign assignments, and take bulk actions to make quick updates.
Frictionless catalog operations
- Automated Image Replication: When you move products from staging to production, Business Manager now packages and transfers internal product assets automatically. No more manual image transfers or broken media links.
- Product Readiness Insights: The Merchant Tools home page now features instant readiness summaries that flag products missing critical data like categories, descriptions, or pricing. Avoid incomplete product launches and ensure customers have all the information they need to convert.
- High-Volume Bulk Actions: Maintain massive catalogs with ease. You can now copy up to 1,000 products, delete up to 200 items simultaneously, and export customized product lists directly to CSV or XML formats from a single screen.
- Expanded Scaling Limits: We have increased the site quota to 5,000 price books per storefront, giving you the runway to deploy complex hyper-regional pricing and promo rules without changing your site architecture.
- Instant Coupon Imports: High-velocity marketing campaigns can move faster with high-capacity coupon code imports that eliminate past startup processing pauses.
Unified profiles across commerce and CRM
With a few clicks, you can establish a secure, native data pipeline between B2C Commerce and your core Salesforce environment. Shopper Profile Sync replaces complex custom code by automatically transforming registered digital accounts into unified Person Accounts across the Salesforce Platform. This unlocks a variety of benefits for Commerce customers.
- True Customer 360 Reality: This unified profile ensures that every team across service, marketing, and loyalty operates from the exact same shopper record without “swivel-chairing.”
- Dramatically Lower TCO: This native, productized solution eliminates the development costs and ongoing maintenance burdens of building custom integration plumbing.
- Unlock Agentforce Use Cases: By embedding the CRM Contact ID directly into the storefront authentication token, Shopper Agents instantly gain secure access to full customer context, empowering them to take autonomous actions like processing returns or sharing real-time order data.
- Unified Agentforce Marketing: Enabling your team to orchestrate real-time behavioral consent capture and drive automated post-purchase email notifications or abandoned cart journeys across email, SMS, and WhatsApp.
- Accelerated Time-to-Market: Deploy powerful cross-cloud capabilities in days instead of months as cross-cloud workflows become configuration projects rather than development projects. Business admins can visually map attributes, update settings, and manage the sync directly in Business Manager without requiring IT.
Tech leads & architects: Security, scale, and system health
For the teams keeping the digital lights on, performance and visibility are everything. As part of our commitment to industry-leading trust and scale, we’re introducing deeper log controls and backend upgrades to ensure your infrastructure stays performant and secure, even under heavy traffic loads.
Proactive system health
- Real-Time Anomaly Detection: Move away from manual log scrubbing. Our new Anomaly Detection engine monitors system log files dynamically to flag security threats, error spikes, and bad login patterns in real-time.
- Unified Alert Management: Track issues across all Log Center data sources from a unified management page. Create alerts for various activities, such as events, log streaming, and anomaly detection. Expand your notification channels to Slack and PagerDuty to quickly inform technical teams. Reduce notification noise with state-aware alerts that fire when an issue is new, ongoing, or resolved.
- Production-Mirror Sandboxes: You can now provision On-Demand Sandboxes (ODS) equipped with fully integrated eCDN features. Test caching logic, run web application firewalls (WAF), and validate security rules in environments that match your actual live site configurations.
- Granular Traffic Guardrails: Managing trusted IP traffic just got easier. Legacy access rules have migrated over to Business Manager WAF Custom Rules and Managed IP Lists, allowing you to control and white-list traffic across an entire realm without needing zone-by-zone setup.
API and architectural foundations
- Asynchronous Eventing Framework (Pilot): Build highly responsive, event-driven architectures. The framework launches with support for real-time asynchronous notifications during system replications, with more events coming soon.
- Strict Security Standards: Third-party libraries have been upgraded to enforce strict RFC 6265 cookie rules. Ensure your technical teams use their On-Demand Sandboxes to clean up any custom code emitting noncompliant cookies before the update takes effect.
- New and updated SCAPIs: The B2C Commerce API sees new Shopper and Admin APIs to address more use cases for frontend experiences and backend configurations. The new Shopper Availability API allows customers to optimize caching time of product information based on their cache TTL.
- SCAPI Optimizations: We updated the platform for an optimised request routing by saving unnecessary hops and optimised data retrieval in our SCAPI response caching.
All SCAPI deployments are now scheduled per region and always off business hours. Customers will see related multiple trust notifications if they run instances in multiple regions.
