Agenda

All times in AEST

The imperative to digitally transform is now more heightened than ever. The question is, how? Join us for a thought-provoking keynote by leading business and IT leaders to learn how to build a more resilient and adaptable organisation...fast, and what technologies you need to make that happen.

Plus hear from Didier Elzinger, Founder & CEO of Culture Amp in ‘The Imperative To Engage in Today’s World’.

After the main session, you will have an opportunity to join the breakout sessions listed below. They will be repeated so you have the opportunity to choose two on the day.

Today everyone expects a high standard digital experience when engaging with brands, but few organisations can deliver it. Most enterprises are held back by legacy technology, which silos data, isn’t mobile, personalised, or scalable, and doesn’t empower anyone.

In this session we’ll hear from University of Melbourne and how they transformed digitally with “OneCRM” unifying and personalising prospective students and parents, teacher and student communications and engagement. Plus, due to COVID 19 constraints, learn how they transformed their annual open days to a digital experience in 5 weeks. Hear how they were able to pivot to a seamless interactive Open Day utilising interactive open day, on-demand content and bookable On Campus tours, leveraging Salesforce CRM and data as the anchor.
A work-from-anywhere world requires new ways of working. Organisations need to treat their employees like customers and provide connected experiences that prioritises their safety and wellbeing, increases engagement and productivity, and empowers them to work flexibly.

In this session you will hear how the Coles HR and IT teams worked together to re-invent how employees engage and connect with the HR function. With over 100,000 staff dispersed across the country they needed to streamline how they responded to both transactional (how to recruit, etc..) and cyclical enquiries (performance review, etc..) from their employees and how to make it easily accessible. Hear how this function was centralised, the approach taken and the technology used.
IT is often bogged down by tech projects that are repetitive and don’t make the best use of people’s talents. Often they require tools that can deliver business needs fast and enable anyone to build with low-code, not just those with technical talents.

In this session hear from Audata and how self-taught coder Keegan Bakker came up with an idea, and within less than five minutes took the code on the desktop and turned it into a live app. Keegan never intended to start his own business, nor did Keegan have plans to expand globally , and now The Audata Promo App has been white labeled by the worlds largest media brands.
A connected IT landscape has become a key factor in who leads and who lags in today’s rapidly changing global economy. However, many businesses struggle to achieve a fully connected organisation due to data silos, integration challenges and misalignment between IT and business.

Join this session where Sean Cummins, Director of ICT Projects, Department of Education, South Australia, will share how an API-led approach has enabled them to build an innovative student-centred online service for public schools and pre-schools, enabling them to deliver world class education. Sean will also share his tips for building a digital transformation strategy and how to create a common language between the end user, business leadership and technology teams.
