Account Engagement Pricing FAQ

Account Engagement+ allows Account Engagement customers to access Marketing Cloud Next Growth and Advanced Editions via Permission Set Licences. This allows all Account Engagement customers to enhance their marketing with Agentforce-powered campaigns, native SMS and WhatsApp, and advanced personalisation capabilities.

Account Engagement customers can access Marketing Cloud Next Growth or Advanced Edition functionality via Permission Set Licences (PSLs) with an Account Engagement+ edition. To provision these solutions alongside your existing Account Engagement environment, follow these steps:

Enable Salesforce Foundations
This gives you access to Data 360 (a prerequisite for Marketing Cloud Next), as well as messaging and Einstein credits. Salesforce Foundations is available at no cost and can be self-enabled in My Account.

Purchase Additional Credits
If your use cases exceed the included credits, you may purchase additional Messaging, Einstein, or Data 360 credits as needed.

Provision Data 360 and Enable the Data 360 Connector
Activate Data 360 and enable the Account Engagement: Data 360 Connector to unify your data.

Enable and Configure Marketing Cloud Next
Provision the appropriate edition based on your needs.

Assign User Permissions via PSLs
Use the provided Permission Set Licences to assign access to your users.

Set Up the CMS for Content Sharing

Configure the content management system to enable asset sharing across experiences.

Data Unification: With Data 360, Account Engagement customers can build segments using all their Salesforce and non-Salesforce data in one unified platform.

Advanced Personalisation: Access advanced personalisation capabilities through Cross-Object Merge Fields and Rule-Based Dynamic Content. With Account Engagement+ unlocking features from Marketing Cloud Next, you can integrate rich customer and business data from Data 360 to personalise and optimise your in-market campaigns.

Salesforce Flow for Marketers: Orchestrate cross-channel and cross-departmental journeys with marketing, sales, service, and commerce touch points more easily. Salesforce Flow for Marketers helps unify marketing with sales, service, and commerce departments—enabling smarter engagement across every stage of the journey.

All Account Engagement customers have access to Marketing Cloud Next Growth Edition or Marketing Cloud Next Advanced Edition as part of their existing Account Engagement instance. We are bringing access to customers via Permission Set Licences. This means that you can access this functionality today and do not need to renew on a new SKU. This being said, Marketing Cloud Next uses a consumption based pricing model, meaning that you consume credits when you use this functionality. Account Engagement customers will need to purchase Einstein Request Credits, Messaging Credits, and Data 360 Credits to use Marketing Cloud Next features.

Yes, of course. You are able to upgrade at any time as well as purchase additional products later on in your contract. We recommend engaging your account representative whenever you have questions around upgrades, add-ons, or contract information.
