  • You’re passionate about solving business challenges by building apps with clicks or code
  • You’ve built at least one custom app on Salesforce

  • You're up for a yearlong commitment to the program
  • You've completed the App Customization Specialist Superbadge on Trailhead

Make sure you've thoroughly read through all the information on this page and that you are ready to commit to a year of active participation in the program. Then, complete the appropriate Superbadge for the path you've chosen (Activation or App Dev).
 
Fill out the application by June 30, 2019 to be in consideration for the next cohort of Lightning Champions. We will review applications and announce new Lightning Champions by August 1, 2019. The next application period will be December 2019.
 
Should you be accepted into the program, it's time to share your passion and expertise with the Ohana and beyond! We'll connect you with opportunities to get involved at events, in your own community, and give you the support and resources to be a Lightning Champion wherever you go.
 
To be an active Lightning Champion, we ask that you complete the following:
  • Commit to a one-year enrollment
  • Lead at least one activity each quarter, including but not limited to:
    • speaking session
    • hands-on workshop
    • event booth staff shift
    • blog post
  • Nominate at least one new Lightning Champion within the year
  • Share monthly Lightning highlights via social media
