Amy Weaver

 

As President and Chief Legal Officer, Amy Weaver leads Salesforce’s legal, ethics and integrity, compliance, internal audit, corporate security, and government affairs teams. She is also the corporate secretary of the board of directors and a member of the company’s executive committee.

Weaver is an experienced public company leader with significant technology industry expertise and deep knowledge of Salesforce’s business and culture. Since joining Salesforce in 2013, she has played an integral role in building the global legal and corporate affairs organizations as well as driving many of the company’s most important strategic and operational initiatives – from advancing Salesforce’s technology leadership and deepening customer and government relationships to executing complex financial transactions.   

Prior to joining Salesforce, Weaver was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Univar Inc., where she was responsible globally for all legal and corporate affairs, governance, corporate transactions, compliance, litigation, and employment-law matters. Previously, Weaver was Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Expedia Inc. Weaver also practiced law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and at Perkins Coie LLP, where she was involved in a number of financial transactions, including project finance and credit agreements, securities offerings, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Prior to entering private practice, she served as a legislative aide to a member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council and as a clerk on the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Weaver currently serves on the Board of Directors of BSA, The Software Alliance, Corporate Pro Bono Institute, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She has a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College.
