Rohan Kumar

Rohan Kumar is President and Chief Platform and Engineering Officer at Salesforce. He leads Global Engineering and the Salesforce Platform, which includes Headless 360, Agent Fabric, Data 360, Tableau, MuleSoft, Informatica, Core Platform capabilities, and Security.

Before joining Salesforce, Rohan spent over two decades at Microsoft where he built and scaled enterprise platforms across Windows, SQL Server, Azure Data, Analytics, and Security. He held a number of technical leadership roles at Microsoft including Corporate Vice President of Azure Data and Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Security.

Rohan has spent his career at the forefront of platform shifts — from operating systems to databases, from on-premises to cloud, from data and analytics to security and governance, and now to AI-powered enterprise platforms.

He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Varanasi and a Masters in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
