Dynamic EcoHome has a unique vision in the home energy industry: to make all homes energy efficient. Their holistic model that addresses not only energy inefficiency, like old windows and failing HVAC systems, but also technologies to help newer homes such as solar power and whole-home batteries that can relieve stress on the power grid and help during outages. This approach aims to improve comfort, lower energy use, and bring lasting value to the people they serve. However, while their business model was revolutionary, they needed to improve their operational infrastructure to move their business into the future.

When the company was first founded in 2017, they relied on a patchwork of disconnected systems. The sales team struggled with navigating Google Sheets, Excel, SmartSheets, and data on their personal cell phones to manage sales processes. This created a disjointed experience for both the sales team and customers. Sales reps had to check three different places just to get an appointment, which slowed down the entire process.

“Speed is key for sales,” said Justin Gift, Director of Inside Sales at Dynamic EcoHome. “But our reps had to check three different places just to get an appointment. It wasn’t that the individual tools were bad, but jumping between them slowed everything down.”

Their potential was also capped by physical limits. A rep could only handle one or two appointments a day because of inefficient routing and the administrative burden. To achieve their goal of becoming the largest home solutions provider in Texas, Dynamic EcoHome needed to build a unified central nervous system for their revenue team.

Agentforce Sales integrates directly with existing sales workflows and data

The transformation began by unifying the data foundation. Today, when a lead arrives, it is queued by an automated dialer deeply integrated with Agentforce Sales. The system instantly presents the inside sales rep with a 360-degree view of the customer, eliminating the need to hunt for information. Once qualified, that data flows seamlessly to the field team without a single manual entry.

“We paired Sales with Field Service so that we could leverage everything inside the sales side while pushing it to the field,” Gift says. “It allows our reps to have everything they need in the most seamless way possible.”

Automation acts as a force multiplier for the sales team

Dynamic EcoHome utilized the platform’s automation capabilities to remove friction from the deal cycle. Previously, generating a complex proposal could take 30+ minutes for a seller while the homeowner’s interest waned. Now, an intelligent flow within Salesforce triggers an API call that builds a complete, accurate proposal in 15 seconds. This automation allows the seller to stay present with the customer, focusing on connection and strategy rather than administrative busywork and ultimately boosting sales.

Slack eliminates the swivel chair effect across the organization

The company also deployed Slack as their Digital HQ, creating a direct line of communication between the office and the field. Dedicated deal channels allow reps to update opportunities, ask questions, and trigger next steps directly from the Slack interface on their mobile devices while at the customer’s house. Slack makes it easy to have everything about the customer at the team’s fingertips, as well as reduces their administrative burden. 

"Everything that happens in Slack pushes to Salesforce,” notes Gift. “It used to take 15 to 20 minutes of busywork to alert the right teams after a deal closed. Now, automatic triggers notify the correct departments with a single click. Speed and efficiency are the biggest wins.”
