Our impact to date
When Salesforce was founded, we committed to giving back 1% of our time, 1% of our equity, and 1% product to support our communities. We call this commitment our 1-1-1 philanthropic model — and it’s driven incredible impact to date.

AI Education Project
Advancing AI readiness for the next generation. At Salesforce, we are proud to support the AI Education Project (aiEDU), a nonprofit dedicated to advancing AI literacy so students are ready for the AI revolution.
Catch22: Overcoming barriers to jobs in tech
Salesforce is proud to support Catch22 in their mission to empower young people with digital skills education. Supported by Salesforce, Catch22’s Digital Skills Academy offers tailored training and support to help youth thrive in the digital age. With a focus on responsible AI use, the Digital Skills Academy equips young people with valuable AI skills to help them navigate their path through education and toward a successful future.
American Forests: Reforesting wildfire-affected lands
American Forests is leading the restoration of millions of acres of forests decimated by wildfires, droughts, and extreme heat so they can continue to provide the clean air and water our communities rely on. Salesforce is proud to support American Forests in this work to regrow the forests we’ve lost and keep them resilient. Together, we are working toward a world where forests flourish, ecological balance is maintained, and people can fully experience the many benefits trees provide.
Rare: Supporting rural farmers anytime, anywhere
Rare helps communities adopt regenerative practices and build stronger livelihoods. With a global 300-person team supporting small-scale farmers and fishers across multiple geographies, they needed a way to deliver guidance and manage operations at scale. With Salesforce, Rare built a unified CRM that enables their teams to manage grants, outreach, and fundraising in one place, while Agentforce powers agentic coaching through WhatsApp. Agent Tierra delivers personalized guidance grounded in more than 300 data points, local weather conditions, and peer insights. The result is strong early adoption, with 100% of pilot farmers saying they would use Agent Tierra again. Field teams expect the AI agent to give them 40% more time for high-impact work and help them scale support to 100,000 farmers within two years.
