Maria Martinez

President, Salesforce Customer Success Group and Success Cloud
General Manager, Salesforce Latin America

 

With more than 30 years of experience in business and technology leadership roles, Maria Martinez leads Salesforce’s Customer Success Group and the Success Cloud business, and also is GM of Salesforce Latin America.

Prior to joining Salesforce eight years ago, Martinez managed Microsoft’s global services business as well as its communications and media sector sales division. Before that, Martinez served as president and CEO of Embrace Networks and also held senior leadership roles at Motorola and AT&T.

She currently serves on the Plantronics board as well as the non-profit Genesys Works Bay Area.

In 2017, Fortune Magazine named Martinez one of the 50 Most Powerful Latinas. She also was honored as one of 50 Multicultural Leaders in Technology. In 2016, she was the winner of the HITEC Estrella Award, and in 2015, placed on Hispanic Executive Top 10 Lideres list. Martinez also has been named to the National Diversity Council’s Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology every year since 2014. 

Martinez earned a Master’s Degree in computer engineering from Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering from the University of Puerto Rico.
