Milestone two: build your application
Leveraging the Agentforce 360 Platform for secure and scalable apps
No matter your path —core or composite— Salesforce gives you the developer tools and support needed to build secure, scalable, enterprise-ready applications.
Apps built entirely on the Agentforce 360 Platform using managed packages, Lightning Web Components, and Apex. These deliver seamless functionality within Salesforce and are distributed directly by the partner.
Apps that combine Salesforce functionality with off-platform services. These extend Salesforce through APIs, connecting it to other systems and unlocking new workflows.
Milestone three: create your AppExchange listing
Showcasing your solution to a global audience
AppExchange is your digital storefront and a direct pipeline to over 175,000 customers. A compelling listing is key to market access and growth, managed in the Partner Console.
Freemium
Customers can use a limited version of this solution for free, but they'll need to pay to unlock more usage, users, or features.
Paid
To use this solution, customers will need to pay a fee.
Paid add-on required
This solution requires customers to purchase a product or service outside of Salesforce.

At this milestone, we check your readiness in two ways:
- Business approval: We confirm your pricing model (Free, Freemium, Paid, Paid Add-On) aligns with our program policies and AppExchange standards.
- Technology review: We verify your listing details match your solution type and that your package or integration is correctly linked and meets our partner branding guidelines.
This step ensures that your solution is positioned to succeed with customers and resonates in the marketplace

Milestone four: commit to a commercial model
Understanding the Connector Program and Standard Commercial Model
Connector program
Instead of a revenue share model, the Connector Program uses fixed pricing. You prepay an annual fee for a set number of orgs or users, giving you complete control over your margins.
Standard Commercial Model
To build robust solutions, you need a partnership built on shared success. We formalize this via a customized Partner Application Distribution Agreement (PADA)*, which is required once you submit your app for business approval.
*The PADA formalizes our commercial relationship and gives you the green light to bring your solution to market.
Milestone five: complete security review
Your solution's path to trust and compliance
Trust is our #1 value. Your solution must pass Security Review, ensuring enterprise-grade security for customers. We provide the resources to guide you every step of the way.
Milestone six: finalize and publish your AppExchange listing
Launching your app
Once approved and secure, use the Partner Console to finalize content, set pricing structure, and connect your solution. You can also enable go-to-market resources like Trialforce and Lead Capture to accelerate adoption on AppExchange.
Milestone seven: reporting revenue
Reporting revenue is a critical final step in our commercial partnership. It ensures we can reinvest in the platform and programs that fuel your growth.
You'll report your application revenue through the Channel Order Application which is provisioned into your Partner Business Org, following the terms of the PADA. We provide all the necessary guidance to make this a streamlined process.
