Salesforce Education Cloud is a deeply unified platform that includes CRM for higher Education and next-gen student information system (SIS) capabilities. It uses the latest Salesforce innovations, such as agentic AI and analytics, to drive learner and institution success. Unlike point solutions, Education Cloud is a configurable platform designed to support multiple use cases across the Education journey.
Education Cloud does not run on the Education Data Architecture (EDA). Instead, it has its own Education Data foundation that is built within the core Salesforce platform. Education-specific objects for things like grades and courses live as native objects on the core Salesforce platform.
Salesforce Education Cloud includes purpose-built modules for each stage of the constituent journey, a common capabilities model, a data foundation for lifelong learning, agentic AI, and analytics–all in one platform.
