Account Executive, Small Business, Salesforce.com Foundation

Recognized in 2009 as one of Fortune’s 100 best places to work, we are seeking an experienced, quota carrying sales performer who is looking to focus their skills to drive the effective use of technology for social benefit. The Account Executive is responsible for energetically championing salesforce.com's solutions to targeted non-profit organizations within the Washington DC and New York metro areas. Additionally, this role is responsible for acquisition of new customers within the assigned geography.

Responsibilities:
  • Create Metrics for Monthly Qualified Lead Objectives
  • Regularly report on Individual Results - Lead Quantity, Quality,
  • Work closely with SR and Foundation Leadership on the follow-up and reporting of lead activity
  • Work closely with Sales Executives on Lead Quality/Quantity and proper follow-up
  • Own both inbound and outbound Partner Portal process and activities
  • Manage and execute lead distribution program
  • Build relationships with Implementation Partners to ensure proper follow up on passed leads
  • Ensure Customer Success through engagement, qualification, and crisp sales execution
  • Respond to and qualify SR lead activity, weekly demonstration attendees, email requests, donation accounts, and existing accounts
  • Achieve monthly Quota of pipeline growth, number of qualified opportunities, and closed business
  • Route Qualified Opportunities to the appropriate Account Executive for further development and closure
  • Forecast, commit, and close small opportunities


Required Skills/Experience:
  • Proven experience in successfully managing sales processes, including but not limited to, pipeline generation and lead qualification
  • Proven experience in closing business over the phone
  • Four plus years of experience in high technology sales with a consistent proven track record of over achievement of quota expectations
  • Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Positive Attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Nonprofit and Higher Education experience a plus
  • Bachelors or University Degree is required
